Our Values

Empowerment:  We encourage the development of dignity, confidence and personal strength through our interactions and practice.

Connection:  We believe in building relationships through listening, compassion and understanding and that this allows us to communicate a better future for our clientele and the community.

Inclusion:  We value each individual's differences and welcome people of all races, ethnicities, religions, genders, orientations, beliefs and need.  We recognize that each of our differences enriches us all and makes us stronger as a community.

Integrity:  We believe that honesty, dignity, respect, trustworthiness and doing the right thing at all times makes us more self aware and allows us to maintain our values and standards.

FLAMIG FARM

We want to recognize our friends at Flamig Farm in West Simsbury, CT, who are unwaveringly supportive of NECD, Inc.

For a great outing, visit the Farm!

The Farm is now open for the season. Stop in and join them for the best way to spend a day!

We at the New England Center for the Deaf, Inc., without hesitation, support absolute equity and respect in the treatment of all people, in all environments and in all situations, period!  We can all beat this toxic climate by ridding ourselves of the fear of differences and appreciating the enrichment that others' differences can give to our own lives.

Take a moment and smile or just say "HI" to someone you don't know today.

Our Belief and your expectation:

We at the New England Center for the Deaf, Inc. believe that everyone should have a friendly place to go where they can feel safe and empowered and where they are treated with respect and dignity.
